St Mary's, a Catholic Day & Boarding Private Boys Secondary School is committed to offering an affordable quality education to all by instilling a character-building work-ethic that produces an "unspoiled" young man who is an excellent "role-model". Located in Nyeri town along Kimathi Street and run by th De La Salle Brothers, the school has a population of 450 secondary school students, 200 young boys in the Rescue Centre and 15 students in the Vocational Training Centre-all in the same compound.
By focusing on practical career-oriented training in addition to the normal academic program, the school's graduates are not only "enabled" for future job opportunities but have multiple self-supporting skills as well.
